The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Greater Seattle is a non-profit organization that provides a forum for members and the public to exchange information about the Bernese Mountain Dog breed. The club promotes responsible dog ownership and breeding practices. The club provides information and education to its members and the general public on the unique health and social requirements of the Bernese Mountain Dog.

Through participation in regional and national programs, the club supports activities to improve the breed through research and sound breeding methodologies.

The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Greater Seattle has a local breed Rescue Coordinator with responsibilities for assisting lost or displaced purebred and Bernese mixes. Rescue services include fostering, rehabilitation, healthcare, and placement of Bernese Mountain Dogs found or turned over to the club Rescue Coordinator. Rescue services are supported through member donations and club fees.
