If you want to get your Herding Instinct Certificate or just want to let your dog give moving the sheep a try, this is a fun, fun day for canine and human. MaifestMay 8, 2010 (Sat)through May 9, 2010 (Sun) | You don't want to miss the wonderful activities during Maifest. Held in the quaint German town of Leavenworth, WA., the club members along with our Canadian friends gather together with their Bernese Mountain Dogs, Greater Swiss, Entlebuchers and Appenzellers. The dogs and their humans dressed up in Bavarian costume take part in the parade then head back to the Der Ritterhof for a BBQ and games. This is a very fun event to attend. Swiss Day ParadeJul 25, 2010 (Sun) | Join the fun for a short but very fun Swiss Day Parade to be held in Bonney Lake, WA. This is an annual event and a favorite for many. General Meeting/Teach your dog a trickFeb 28, 2010 (Sun)11:30 AM | Plan to attend our first meeting of the year for a general meeting, a raffle & demonstration by renowned agility trainer Daisy Peel on how to teach your dog some new tricks. Daisy will also conduct a short workshop after the demo for those wanting to practice their new skills. Instead of a potluck, this year we will be collecting 5 dollars per head & will have pizza.
